Rigged is a marketplace built specifically for buying and selling gaming hardware. We provide tools designed to make transactions safer, including seller identity verification, secure payment processing, tracked delivery, an inspection period and a structured process for reporting problems.
Rigged facilitates transactions between Buyers and Sellers. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, the item is sold by the Seller shown on the listing — not by Rigged.
Buyer Protection does not guarantee that every Seller, listing or item will be genuine, fault-free or suitable for you. Instead, it provides the processes below to reduce risk and help resolve eligible problems.
Before a User can sell through Rigged, they must complete the required identity verification and connect an approved Stripe account.
Identity verification is intended to reduce fraud and increase accountability. Verification does not mean that Rigged endorses a Seller or guarantees the condition, authenticity or legality of an item they list.
Sellers must accurately describe their items, provide truthful photographs and condition information, disclose known faults and have the right to sell the item.
Payments made through Rigged are processed using Stripe.
Paying for an order does not mean that the Seller immediately receives the money in their bank account. Seller payout eligibility is linked to Rigged’s order process and the Buyer inspection period.
Where there is a valid refund request, dispute, fraud review or other valid hold, payout may be delayed while the issue is reviewed.
Stripe, banks, verification procedures and risk controls may cause additional delays after a payout becomes eligible for release.
Orders must use the shipping process provided through Rigged.
Shipping is carried out by independent carriers and tracking information is supplied by the carrier or shipping provider. Rigged does not transport, warehouse or hold the goods.
Carrier delivery times are estimates and delays caused by a carrier may be outside Rigged’s control.
Once delivery is confirmed by carrier tracking or another Rigged-approved delivery event, a 72-hour (3-day) inspection window may begin.
You should inspect and, where appropriate, test the item as soon as possible after it arrives. During this period, you should make sure you received the correct item, that its condition reasonably matches the listing, that there is no significant undisclosed damage or fault and, where applicable, that the item functions as described.
If everything is correct, you can confirm through Rigged that the item has been received and is in working order.
If you take no action and there is no eligible refund request, dispute, fraud review or other valid hold, the order may become eligible for Seller payout after the 72-hour period.
If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, report the problem using Rigged’s order tools during the inspection window.
Use the Rigged process rather than arranging a return independently. This allows the issue to be reviewed and, where appropriate, the Seller payout to remain on hold.
For an eligible faulty, damaged or not-as-described return reported through this process, the Seller is responsible for the return shipping label.
Rigged may request information reasonably necessary to understand the issue and process the return or refund.
Buyer Protection is designed for genuine problems with transactions. It is not a general right to return any item for any reason.
A change of mind is not automatically eligible for a return when buying from a private Seller. The Seller may refuse the request. If the Seller agrees to accept a change-of-mind return, the Buyer is responsible for the return shipping label under Rigged’s standard process.
Buyer Protection does not replace any statutory rights you may have. Where a Seller is acting as a trader, additional consumer rights may apply, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in this policy removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Refund amounts depend on the circumstances of the order and are governed by Rigged’s Refund Policy.
Under Rigged’s standard process, Stripe’s payment-processing cost may be retained from a refund where the law allows. If the law requires a different refund amount, the law takes priority.
Original outbound shipping may be refunded where the shipping label remains unused, is still pre-transit and is cancelled.
Once an outbound label has been used, or the parcel is in transit or has been delivered, the original shipping charge is not refunded under Rigged’s standard process.
Rigged does not tolerate fraud or misuse of the marketplace.
Users must not list stolen, counterfeit or illegal goods, deliberately misdescribe items, manipulate reviews, attempt to avoid marketplace fees or arrange payment outside Rigged.
Where reasonably necessary, Rigged may remove listings, restrict or suspend accounts, hold payouts, retain relevant records and report suspected criminal activity to the appropriate authorities.
Transactions or payments arranged outside Rigged are outside Rigged’s marketplace transaction process.
Buyer Protection works alongside your responsibility to check what you are purchasing.
Before paying, carefully review the listing, photographs, description, stated condition and Seller information. When your order arrives, inspect it promptly and report an eligible problem through Rigged within the applicable inspection window.
Do not send payment outside Rigged or attempt to bypass Rigged’s checkout or order process.
We do not hold Seller stock, warehouse listed products or become the Seller merely because an item appears on Rigged. Unless expressly stated otherwise on a listing, the contract for the goods is between the Buyer and the Seller named on the listing and order.
Buyer Protection, identity verification, tracked shipping and the inspection window are intended to reduce transaction risk. They are not a guarantee that every User or item is genuine, lawful, fault-free or as expected.
Nothing in this Buyer Protection Policy limits or excludes statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
This Buyer Protection Policy should be read alongside Rigged’s Terms and Conditions, Refund Policy, Return Policy and Privacy Policy.
If there is an inconsistency, any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded will continue to apply.
