Rigged processes personal information in order to operate the marketplace, provide accounts, facilitate transactions between Buyers and Sellers, process payments, arrange shipping, manage payouts, prevent fraud and provide support.
We do not sell your personal information.
When you use Rigged, we may collect information you provide to us, including your name, email address, telephone number, account information and delivery or billing addresses.
We may also process information relating to your activity on Rigged, including listings, photographs, messages, offers, reviews, support requests, orders, refunds, tracking information and payout status.
We receive information directly from you when you create or use an account, create a listing, communicate with another User, make a purchase, sell an item, request support or otherwise interact with Rigged.
We may also receive information relating to transactions, payments, identity verification, shipping, tracking and payouts from service providers used to operate the marketplace.

We use personal information where necessary to operate and protect the Rigged marketplace.
This includes creating and maintaining accounts, enabling listings and marketplace features, facilitating transactions, processing payments, creating shipping labels, providing tracking, managing Seller payouts, handling refunds and disputes, providing customer support and detecting or preventing fraud and misuse.
We may also process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Users who wish to sell through Rigged are required to complete identity verification.
Information required for verification may be processed by the identity-verification provider used for the check. This may include identity information and likeness information required to confirm a Seller’s identity.
Identity verification is used to reduce fraud, improve accountability and protect Users and the marketplace.
Completing verification does not mean that Rigged guarantees or endorses a particular Seller.
Payments and Seller connected accounts are processed through Stripe.
Information necessary to process payments, verify connected accounts, manage transactions and facilitate Seller payouts may therefore be shared with or processed by Stripe.
Rigged does not ask Users to send payment-card numbers through marketplace messages. Users should never send card details or other sensitive payment credentials to another User through Rigged.
When you buy or sell an item, information necessary to fulfil the order may be processed and shared with the relevant parties and service providers.
This may include information required to generate shipping labels, provide delivery addresses, obtain tracking information and manage delivery of an order.
Rigged uses shipping providers and independent carriers to provide these services. Information necessary for shipping and tracking may therefore be provided to Shippo and the carrier responsible for the parcel.
Certain information may also need to be provided to the Buyer or Seller on the other side of a transaction where it is necessary to complete or resolve that order.
We only share personal information where it is reasonably necessary to operate the marketplace, provide a requested service, protect Rigged and its Users, or comply with the law.
This may include Stripe for payments, identity verification and connected Seller accounts; Shippo and relevant carriers for shipping labels and tracking; the Buyer or Seller involved in an order where necessary to complete the transaction; and an identity-verification provider where verification is required.
We may also disclose relevant information to law enforcement, regulators, courts or other authorities where required by law or where fraud or criminal activity is reasonably suspected.
We do not sell Users’ personal information.
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and where we need to retain it to meet legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution requirements.
Order, identity and dispute records may therefore be retained after a transaction has been completed or an account has been closed where they remain necessary for these purposes.
Listing and message information may be retained while your account is active and for an appropriate period after your account is closed.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose and any applicable legal requirements.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable data-protection law, you may have rights relating to the personal information held about you.
You may ask us for information about the personal data we hold about you or request that inaccurate information is corrected.
Other rights may apply depending on the circumstances. Some requests may be restricted where Rigged has a lawful reason or legal obligation to continue retaining or processing particular information, including records required for fraud prevention, transactions, tax matters or legal claims.

Rigged takes reasonable measures designed to protect personal information and the marketplace. Payments are processed through Stripe and Sellers are required to complete identity verification.
However, no website, marketplace or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their account credentials and should never send payment-card numbers through Rigged messages.
We may update this Privacy Policy where necessary to reflect changes to Rigged, our services, the providers we use or applicable legal requirements. The latest version will be published on Rigged with an updated revision date.
